MCESC 5-year strategic plan, your feedback informs our services!

About

Being part of a big family can be awesome and overwhelming at times. Awesome in the sense of access to experiences, stories, and resources that are not necessarily available to smaller lots but overwhelming in the sense of there being so many initiatives, voices, departments, expertise. We seek to build on the awesome in a way that can honor everyone’s voice.

As part of our ESC family, we understand that each of our employees is unique and has had unique experiences that influence how they serve. When we choose to share this valuable information with our people this can foster growth, quality of service, and workplace happiness. We collectively recognize that the jobs are hard and the work is important! What we ask now is that you take a little time to  reflect on your experiences to help our family grow so that we can better serve.  Whether you have been here 3 months or 30 years, your perspective matters and can help guide our 5- year strategic plan!

This questionnaire does not have the capability to save your progress. Please start when you can devote the time to thoroughly participate. It should take you 15-30 minutes to complete.

Why a 5-year strategic plan?

While most of us view our ESC colleagues as family members we are still a business. A business that strives for excellence in a very complex system. A 5-year plan will identify major organizational goals and milestones that support focused growth so that we remain agile, responsive, and a place where people are proud to work.

How will these questions be used?

Your responses will be collected for trend analysis. We will not be sharing out individually attributed feedback like we have done on previous InnovateK12 events. In the future, we may use responses for continued conversations BUT they will not be attributed to an individual party!  However, in the future, we may use responses for continued conversations BUT will not attribute an individual response to an individual! This data will inform the Board and Cabinet’s creation of strategic goals. Committees (consisting of various stakeholders) will meet in the winter months to draft action indicators and impact metrics for each goal.  Our new Strategic Goals will be shared at our August 2023 Convocation. ESC leadership will continue to implement, measure, and report on initiatives as they align with the plan for the coming 5 years.
